Description

First-generation Camaro debuted on a new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and would be available as a 2-door, 2+2 seating, coupe or convertible with a choice of 250ci inline-6 and 302ci, 307ci, 327ci, 350ci, or 396ci V8 powerplants. The Camaro was touted as having the same conventional rear-drive, front-engine configuration as Mustang and Chevy Nova. In addition, the Camaro was designed to fit a variety of power plants in the engine bay. The first-generation Camaro would last until the 1969 model year.

No Reserve Classics is listing this beautiful and highly optioned 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for a NO-RESERVE auction! That's right, you can own this classic piece of automotive history and we are letting YOU, the bidder, decide how much you want to buy this car for! Tired of seeing a bunch of Camaro's for sale claiming to be a real SS? Good news for you is that this car is 120% a REAL Super Sport Camaro from the factory. X55 indicates that this was an original (and now very rare) SS 350!!! But wait, it doesn't stop here, this car was born out of the factory as a true Code 71 Factory LeMans Blue car making it highly desirable. These cars flew off the dealerships back then as the color and SS combination was what everybody wanted. This combination is even super rare to find today as not many SS's were born with LeMans Blue paint codes. Overall, if you're looking for a great car to take on cruises down the beach or around town to local car shows and enjoy (even on those brutal hot summer days!), this is the car you should take home with you today! This classic is without a doubt the real "head turner" and "thumb raiser" you've been looking for.

To sum this car up, this 1969 Camaro is the epitome of an iconic image of the famous classic muscle car era being that it is a true X55 SS Camaro combined with an original 71 LeMans Blue paint code and Houndstooth Interior. It is a very pleasant car to drive being that is has all of the luxuries' most classic cars do not come with such as A/C, power steering, power disc brakes, and a firm suspension with a strong 12 Bolt Posi Rear. We highly encourage any potential bidders/buyers to give Joe a call and ask any questions you may have before the auction ends as it is impossible to describe this car in an ad like this. Overall, we would be very proud and comfortable driving this car every day possible and know for sure you would be too. Although this car looks absolutely astounding, please keep in mind this is almost a 50 year old car with a slightly older paint job and some imperfections. It may need a few odds and ends down the road but nonetheless it is a car you will be very happy to drive in. This is the type of car that you can easily take to the next level and create a 'nut/bolt' restoration out of as it is highly optioned, unlike most base Camaro's, making it very valuable.
