Description

The Chevrolet Camaro is an automobile manufactured by General Motors under the Chevrolet brand, classified as a pony car, and some versions also as a muscle car. It went on sale on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The car shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird, also introduced for 1967.

First-generation Camaro debuted on a new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and would be available as a 2-door, 2+2 seating, coupe or convertible with a choice of 250ci inline-6 and 302ci, 307ci, 327ci, 350ci, or 396ci V8 powerplants. The Camaro was touted as having the same conventional rear-drive, front-engine configuration as Mustang and Chevy Nova. In addition, the Camaro was designed to fit a variety of power plants in the engine bay. The first-generation Camaro would last until the 1969 model year.
This very original 1969 Camaro Pace Car is one true fully rotisserie-restored masterpiece. This restoration was extremely detailed as there were no expenses spared in the car, under the hood, and beneath the floors. This car presents beautifully and drives just as great as it looks. The Dover White paint shines like new on this laser straight body!
This car has been PROFESSIONALLY rotisserie-restored and fully photo documented during its restoration with over 130 photos! The car starts right up and runs phenomenally. This car runs a powerful and correct Chevy Small Block 350 as well as a powerful 4-speed Muncie Transmission. It has also been recently and professionally decaled with the factory-correct decals.
The required options with any Z11 package 69 Camaro Pace Car included C05 white convertible top, D80 spoilers, YA1 deluxe seatbelts, ZJ7 rally wheels, ZL2 special ducted hood, Z22 Rally Sport, Z27 Super Sport, and Z87 custom interior (orange houndstooth, code 720).

This '69 Camaro RS/SS Z11 Pace Car Convertible is as good as it gets and the pictures don't even do this car any justice. With only minor imperfections such as small rock chips, etc., this car is definitely very close to show quality condition and is truly 100% one of a kind first generation Camaro. Please keep in mind this restoration was not completed yesterday so minor imperfections may be seen.

In addition, this car like previously mentioned has been fully rotisserie/frame off-restored with over 130 photos to prove it! You can see a few of the pictures that we have uploaded above to display the craftsmanship that was involved in this car's restoration!

If you have been searching for a true and authentic '69 Camaro Pace Car that drives as good as it looks, this is the car for you! This is the perfect Camaro for anyone who has ever dreamed of owning and enjoying an iconic, rapidly appreciating, and arguably the best investment year classic Camaro of all time.

The motor under this hood is a RARE AND VALUABLE 350 Small Block Chevy that was taken out of a 1968 Camaro. The motor runs a Rochester 4-Barrel Carburetor, Holley Street Dominator Aluminum Intake, Cowl Induction, and much more! It has also been recently tuned up with new spark plugs, wires, adjusted carburetor, new oil and oil filter, etc. It has the FACTORY CORRECT Muncie 4-Speed Transmission that shifts on the dime! The rear end of this beauty is a strong and FACTORY ORIGINAL GM 12-Bolt 3.73 Gear Ratio Positive Traction rear end.
This Camaro stops on the money with its factory style power brake system using disc brakes on the front. As previously mentioned, the engine compartment has been FULLY DETAILED and restored (with cowl induction) to original factory specifications.

The trunk in these early generation Camaro's was ALWAYS the first thing to rot and rust out. The trunk in THIS car has been fully and professionally restored and welded in. It has been painted with the correct original style spatter paint.
It is VERY RARE to find Camaro's with a trunk in this shape! Trunks in the older cars were always glued in when they rotted out and never re-welded in. This body restoration clearly had its time taken to be done right as you can see by all of the pictures.
